New Bath

We installed a unit in our guest, bath and have been using it for about 6 months. We hired the install with my husband assisting. Our experience was pretty much the same as the other reviewer. Our shower was delivered in a huge wooden crate so be prepared. It was well packaged and instructions were fairly easy to follow but not for the inexperienced. If you understand plumbing, wiring, etc and have someone to help you handle the glass panels you should be able to do this fairly easily. The positives to such a shower are: self contained, all glass, water tight. I love the lighting, the multiple shower heads. The steam is generated fairly quick so a last minute decision to turn it on doesn't mean a long wait. I like the wooden floor. The look is beautiful and it's easy to keep clean. I do leave the door slightly open to be sure it dries fully and every once in a while I lift the wooden floor, spray the underside with a mix of vinegar/dawn dish soap. The only negative for me personally is that the wall jets are placed for someone much taller (I'm 5'4") and I rarely use them because they are too high. You can position them but not enough to make them work for me. This unit looks so pretty and is so easy to take care of that we are considering adding a second, larger unit in our master bath. Also, we did separate the shower/toilet with a cedar wall with removable panels in case we need to access the components for future repair.
